With the launch of the new Sony Playstation 4 with improved hardware and a better controller then the previous Dual Shock 3. The Sony Playstation 4 has a prepacked Dual Shock 4 controller which is a massive change from all the previous generation consoles controllers and playing games have become more fun. There has been a massive improvements in the ergonomic design from the previous Dual Shock 3 controller.
The layout of the buttons and the joysticks are the same. There has been changes made in the L1 and L2 buttons which make them feel really good when pressing them. Along with that a touch pad has been placed in the top middle of the controller to control different aspects of the games.
I have found that alot of people who play games on both their Playstation 4 and on their PC want the better of both of them, the nifty controls of the PC with the mouse and keyboard with the ease and overall better feel of gaming when playing RPGs and such. So PC gamers tend to find a way to play their games on PC using the Playstation 4 Dualshock 4 controller. Unfortunately Sony has not made their Dual Shock 4 controller compatible with current windows and windows does not support Playstation 4 Dual Shock 4 controllers. Windows however is compatible with Xbox controllers.
So we cannot expect the owners of Playstation 4 buy an expensive Xbox controller for their gaming needs so there is a simple solution to this problem. We use the Playstation 4 Dual Shock 4 Controller on PC by tricking windows into thinking that we have plugged in a Xbox controller.
