Call of Duty is a first person action shooter game that is developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. Call of Duty is the first installment of the famous Call of Duty Franchise. Call of duty has also download of its expansion pack called Call of Duty: United Offensive. Call of Duty was released in 2003 and paved its way to the most successful shooter of its time. Call of Duty Gameplay
As Call of Duty uses a heavily modified version of the Quake Engine so the feel to the game is similar to Quake. Call of Duty does not have a health gauge which alot of other games have instead it has a cool down system. Which means that if the player is injured the screen gives an indication of the hit along with an indicator of the extent of damage like the screen borders turn red and grows with intensity when the player is further hurt.
